We finally made it back to the boat project on July 5th, 2010 with a whole raft of things to do.
In the winter of 2009 they had a lot of snow here and the huge snow load took a real toll on the railings.

After analyzing the damage, I decided to completely enclose the ship and make her weather tight so I no longer have a need for a tarp.
It is going to be outside it's whole life so we may as well start now.
So now that I have decided to leave her open year round I need to do the following outside work.
As we progress through the summer I will put green checkmarks next to the completed items.

Step 1: Finish the framing around the front windshield.  |

Step 2: Redo the current hatch opening for the rear companionway. |

Step 3: Build a hatch cover for the rear companionway. |

Step 4: Build companionway Doors. |
Step 5: Get the rudder and steering gear installed and functioning.

Step 6: Repair the rotten deck. |
| Step 7: Repair the railing on the aft deck. |
| Step 8: Repair the aft deck. |
| Step 9: Convert anchor windlass from hydraulic to electric. |
| Step 10: Sand and refinish all the wood that has been affected by the weather. |

Step 11: Remove old scaffolding around the rear of the boat.
