Vessel Overview

The vessel is a custom-built Spray designed from Bruce Roberts plans. The hull follows full-size drawings, while the remainder of the vessel has been custom designed, including a pilothouse with dining settee and a standing room aft cabin with twin beds.

She features two steering stations—one inside the pilothouse and one on the aft deck. The pilothouse helm includes a rear-facing camera for improved visibility.

Originally designed as a yawl, she is ready for sails, masts, and rigging. The rigging layout was prepared by the late master rigger Brion Toss.

Propulsion & Mechanical

• Engine: Perkins 4.236 – 72 HP
• Exhaust: Vetus anti-syphon system with waterlock and muffler
• Drive Shaft: 1.5" stainless steel with flex drive unit
• Propeller: 24"
• Steering: Wagner 700 series (dual station)
• Rudder indicator at both stations

Navigation & Electronics

• Electronic sensor system connected to onboard microcomputer
• Wireless data transmission to aft steering station
• Spare microcomputer and test box included
• Arduino code included for system customization and firmware updates

Anchoring System

• Electric anchor windlass with remote control
• Windlass battery compartment located in V-berth
• Anchors: 1 Danforth, 1 CQR plow anchor
• 300' all-chain rode with braided emergency cutaway line
• Rode color-coded in 50' increments

Water Systems

• 40-gallon fresh water tank
• Saltwater washdown pump system
• 10-gallon grey water system (expandable using former black water tank up to +20 gallons)
• 6-gallon water heater (120V AC or engine-heated underway)
• PEX plumbing throughout

Fuel & Power

• 200-gallon fuel capacity
• Dual Racor fuel polishing filters
• Fuel polishing system operable underway via dedicated pump and valves
• Estimated range: approximately 2,000 miles at ~10 MPG
• Yamaha 2500 gas generator

Watermaker & Tender

• Cruise RO watermaker (unused, preserved/pickled filter)
• Avon R10 dinghy
• Tohatsu 6 HP outboard motor

Galley & Interior

• Norcold DE0061 refrigerator (AC/DC operation)
• Large dual deep sink
• Cold storage locker for perishables
• Pantry storage
• Three 20 lb propane tanks in aft deck lockers
• Galley-mounted propane shutoff with leak sensor under deck
• Broadwater 4-burner stove with oven (Australian manufacture)

Comfort & Systems

• Dickinson Antarctic diesel cabin heater
• Airhead composting toilet (no black water pump-out required)
• Workbench with vise for onboard repairs

Construction Notes

Interior ceilings are currently unfinished pending rigging installation. Structural ceiling framework consists of 4" x 4" laminated beams spaced 24" apart, with gussets through-bolted at each corner for high strength.
