A ripple was felt in the spirit world of seafarers when another Spray was born today.
Another beloved Spray designed by Joshua Slocum has been set afloat this day for the very first time.
The Sharon Rose will take her place in the history books of these great ships which began when the first Spray was launched on April 24, 1895, over 125 years ago.
Mastless today but next year after more "on the water" sea trials she'll don a new set of sails and venture out into the great Pacific Ocean, just like her sisters before her.
