The Launch 3 | 30-Jun-21

Bruce came after his normal working hours and took us back to the ramp. By this time we all felt like veterens.
Bruce dropped the stern in the water again and we checked our work. The shaft was still leaking but out of the stuffing box like it should. Happy as can be we went through the procedure for an engine start and she fired right off. All was well with the world.
Randy asked to use a dock up the reach but it was a port side docking, so we began to move the lines from the planned starboard docking. As Randy and I were trying to loosen a line on a cleat I put the dinghy on, the engine quit....
From the back of the Sea Lift, I heard Bruce say, "That don't sound too good !"
Randy and I tried to bleed the lines to get it running again but to no avail.... I was embarrassed as hell as Bruce took us back to the barn the second time.
I told Bruce how embarrassed I was, but he replied, "It's a boat !"
Now to find out where the fuel lines are sucking air !.
