To haul out and dry dock.
Randy and Nycol came up to Anacortes to help us get the boat to the haul out ramp. The area is real tight and I do not have the skills as yet to get this big ol' boat in safely. The haul out crew was scheduled to get us out of the water at 12:45 with the Sea Lift. We weighed anchor and cruised around for a while so Randy could get used to how she handled.
Randy did his magic and got us there on time, but there was no Sea Lift waiting for us! Would you fricken believe it, the damn thing broke down again as he was coming to get us.
Nycol said, "First the Sharon Rose doesn't want to go into the water, now she doesn't want to come out!"
So we had to dock the Sharon Rose FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME! Then we waited for what they were going to do. Randy and Nycol took off and we grabbed a hamburger.

Here she sits for the first time at a dock.

While we were at the dock, Jon showed up and finished the upholstery! Beautiful workmanship by Jon and Lynn.

After a while Kyle showed up to be my new Captain and steer the ship onto the Sea Lift. Bruce was able to fix the Sea Lift. The mechanic who worked on it the last time it failed on us, forgot to tighten up the 15 bolts on the hub. Bruce took her to her new winter home, and with the help of Christina here she is !
It's a blessing that we got her into dry dock today because a storm is to hit for the next few days. I sure didn't want to be at anchor in 25 to 30 mph winds. We will sleep well tonight.
