Locker Covers - 2025

The plywood locker covers were all rotten, even when they were covered in rubber on the top. So much for plywood. So I decided to use plastic of some kind so I found 2 1" x 9-1/4 in. x 8 ft. Verada White Cellular PVC Trim. I cut them and then glued them together. Will not rot, crack, splinter or split; Resistant to mold and mildew; Impervious to moisture, insect and termites. Does not require painting, accepts paints and stains well; Fire retardant, class A flame spread rated. When I set them on the locker to see if they fit, and sat my ass down, the glue gave way ! POP! |

| To really think about it no amount of glue will hold with folks kneeling, stepping or just sitting on it with a fat ass. We decided to re-enforce them underneath with 16 gauge galvanized plates. Below is shown with the plates installed. I put them all together then took them apart and applied TotalBoat Epoxy to the edges, then re-assembled. |
