Port Stairs

These port side stairs have been on the boat for about 15 years. So I won't complain about how long they lasted. We removed the fancy rope work because they go too slippery when wet.

As you can see they are a little wore out.


Here are the new steps shown upside down. I had a heck of a time over the years trying to mark them properly as to their position. Holy shit batman I have a laser engraver. Now they are marked permanently. "Hmm..." maybe now I can do some fancy work?


Here is the top stair with it's new design. Mermaids and King Neptune.	Here is the middle step engraved with Dolphins.


Here is the bottom step with it's new design. Whales. "They be whales here Captain". The next step is to Epithane them so they're ready for bad weather. I also decided to turn the bolts around that are holding the outside brackets so no screws will be seen when I install the Whales Tails.	All finished ! (and they fit !)
