Dinghy - 2020

Our dinghy is an Avon R3.10. It was tested last year and had no leaks, so this year we need to stow it up under the boomkin.
Also we need a boarding ladder to get up on the ship.

Here is the new boarding ladder. We decided to get a 5 step so the first step is down in the water. Makes it eaier to get back on board if you happened to go swimming. The wheels are designed to be mounted on the transom of the dinghy for ease of launching as shown. I looked at reviews for the Chinese versions on Amazon and some of the them indicated the wheels broke the first time they were used. So I ordered the more expensive ones, $230.00 but they are a much better product. We can load it up all our stuff with the engine on and take it to the water.

I am trying to be very careful in mapping out the location on the wheel brackets. When deploying and belaying the wheels they have to clear the pontoons and the outboard motor when underway. Brackets roughed in.

Wheels down captain, motor mounted and ready to go !!
