The engine alternator will charge the anchor windlass battery and the house batteries while underway. Under shore power a seperate battery charger will keep the anchor windlass battery charged.
Battery Switch installed. Now I can isolate the battery pack from the boat systems. The common is hooked directly to the battery, # 1 hooks the battery to ships DC system and # 2 hooks the battery to the engine systems.	I ran a 110 VAC line from the feed line of the Inverter/Charger to a new outlet under the mascerator pump. Then I mounted this auxillary charger and wired it to the charge line for the anchor windlass. So whenever we are on shore power/generator this charger will keep the anchor windlass battery charged.
