Port side backing plates for the hawse pipes installed. It is all one piece of fir.	Here is the starboard side.
Deck Sealing and Repair
After only 9 months in the weather the plywood deck, even with a 3 coats of deck enamel paint started to delaminate. So the only thing left to do is to sand it all off and put 2 layers of fiber glass mat over it to seal it once and for all.
Here you see it starting to delaminate under the paint.	So I ground it all off and applied 2 layers of fiber glass mat. Also redid the edges.
Then bondo over everything to fill in the gaps between the fibers. Then sand it all off again.	All done for now until I apply the anti-slip layer. See the new hatch, well I needed to add this opening to get at the water fill. It also has a bin inside store the washdown hose and nozzle.
Here's the starboard side. Ran out of matt for the top layer so I had to use roving. Needs more bondo to fill in the gaps but here it is, so far.
