Another thing that was lying around in the way was the starboard vent tube. The vent tubes allow air to circulate below decks and provide air for the engine.
Gnettie has already done the fancy work, I just needed to learn how to make a turks head again.

Here it is drilled through the ceiling and mounted. This one is the exhaust vent and will have a fan mounted on it to expel potentially dangerous explosive air below decks, and be a vent for the clothes dryer. |
Here is the top of the top coming up through the deck. This hole had to be precise, to keep the weather out. |

With the used parts left over I put a rain cap over it until we can get some dorade boxes. |
Here you can see the blower attached to the extension pipe. Next I have to hook in the dryer vent.
When the dryer is running the hot exhaust air will be forced up the tube and vent outside. |
