Starboard thru-hull fitting for forward bilge pump.

Another job I should have done while repairing the deck. It would have been a lot easier then trying to reach through the small opening. Even my arms aren't long enough. But with some stretching I was able to get it done.

   

Here is the start, nice pristine cedar ceiling.

Cut the opening and drill a small pilot hole to locate it on the hull.
   
Go outside and using a compass scribe a circle the correct size. The tape is to make sure I don't scratch the paint with the Rotozip tool. Oops, I had drilled the pilot hole in the right place but the curve of the hull put the end a little lower then I wanted it. So I had to cut a scallop out of the bottom.
   
Here is the outside part done. Here is the hose attached. The bilge pump now has somewhere to pump out the water.
