Here is another big job I forgot I had to do. After I replaced the deck I forgot to insulate it. On the port side repair I put the insualtion in when I put the deck on.
Also I had not hooked up the nurse tank that feeds the deisel heater.

Here you can see the fuel pump and hoses for the nurse tank now in place. I tried the pump and it didn't work. I need to place it with a good old reliable Facet Pump. You can also see where it is not insulated under the deck. |
This is a catch 22 job, you have to do one thng before the other or you'll be all screwed up. So before I can put on the insulation I need to cut the hole for the deisel fuel inlet. First step is to drill a small hole from underneath. |

Hole is cut, then sanded so it is round. Then I take a router and round the edges to match the shape of the filler. |
Final step, silicone it and mount it in place. Through its lifetime there will be 1000's of gallons of fuel going in this filler. |

Insulation is done, and the cedar has been sanded, ready to be varathaned. |
The cedar is also sanded below. |

Cedar ceilings are done ! |
Looking good , yes? |

This is how it looks under the deck. |
