We came to Whidbey island this year with high hopes on working on the ship.
But work had to come first. I went to Italy in the spring and got a contract with Whidbey Software to work on a custom program.
Plus I had to get my Accounting Manager program ready. So needless to say there was very little progress done.
I did discover something however. I was pressure washing the decks, and when I got to the side door my shoes got wet and spongy. Wow I thought, my shoes got real wet, very quick, so I bounced up and down on the deck and
IT WAS SPONGEY.
The deck from the aft stairway up to the forward section, about 12 feet was all rotten.
