Now that the hull is painted we can start on the finish work on the outside. We want it to look like an old ship so this is the finishing touch.

First we start with a mock up in card board to see how they will look.

Now we start with putting in the oak frames. These are glued in with
3M 5200 with spacers so the window is floating in the caulking. |
The we cut, measure and screw in the yellow cedar frames to go around
the outside. |

Here they are with their fancy top board installed, with 2 coats of Cetol undercoat and 2 coats of Cetol Gloss |

Here they are with the finishing touch, 2 teak sticks to simulate 4 panes per window. It gives it the antique look.... |
