Our good friends Beth and Elroy Gullingsrud come every summer to give us a hand on the ship. When Elroy asked what we would be doing, I had to think fast about a 2 man job and low and behold into my mind popped "How about the poop deck railing"?

So when they arrived we went to work and completed what you see in the following pictures. This however took about 4 weeks of work.

I also started building the boom kin which is the area behind the missen (rear) mast for tending the boom. Plus I will use it as an access to a swimming platform and diggy launch.
