1996

The Puget Sound Power company was doing a transformer install on the Elliot's property. A few of the guys came over and looked at the boat with interest. They asked if they could do anything to be part of the ship building. I said "Yep, I need the engine put in the boat."
They said if their crew gets the next job in the back they will put 'er in. A few weeks went by and they showed up and got 'r done.
Truly a ship builders milestone !
Out in the yard, ready to be skidded closer to the ship. Looking the job over.

Hooking it up to the crane. Lifting it up.

Up she goes ! Over the side of the hull.

Slowly lowing it into place.

Un-chaining. The engine is getting closer to home.

Building the topsides and pilot house. Used strips to maintain the curve of the pilot house

Cutting the curve for the upper cross beams. I sandwiched the bulkheads between the cross beams.

Building the deck. Gussets all in place.
